Job Description:
• Perform first-level investigation of Out-of-Control (OOC) conditions, line excursions, and abnormal lot or tool situations arising from inline OOC or Out-of-Specification (OOS) SPC events. Make appropriate disposition and escalation decisions based on established procedures.
• Optimize process conditions to improve process stability, yield, and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate closely with Equipment Engineers and Manufacturing teams to ensure key module objectives, performance targets, and operational goals are achieved.
• Evaluate and identify opportunities to improve process margins, robustness, and overall manufacturing capability.
• Lead and support cost reduction initiatives through process improvements, waste elimination, and operational efficiency enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, discipline, and housekeeping requirements, and promote a strong safety culture among all personnel.
• Analyze various defect types and failure modes, and provide clear problem statements, data-driven findings, and troubleshooting direction to equipment teams for effective root cause analysis and resolution.
• Monitor process performance trends and recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize process deviations and improve yield.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process capability, equipment performance, productivity, and quality.
• Drive timely resolution of process-related issues through effective cross-functional collaboration and data analysis.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, process optimization, equipment qualification, and production support within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to execute equipment upgrades, hardware modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, process capability, and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive effective root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Flexible and willing to work on Normal Shift, Swing Shift, or 12-hour rotating shift schedules, as required by operational needs.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrates a high level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
