About the role

This is a Client Relationship Executive/Manager (Non-Sales) within an international insurance technology platform. You will build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and personalised service delivery, providing comprehensive financial advisory services tailored to individual client needs and circumstances.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and personalised service delivery

• Provide comprehensive financial advisory services tailored to individual client needs and circumstances

• Assess client financial situations and recommend appropriate insurance and financial products

• Manage client portfolios and ensure optimal product performance and suitability

• Handle client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction

• Prepare detailed financial plans and proposals for clients based on thorough analysis of their requirements

• Conduct regular client reviews to ensure alignment with their financial objectives

• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling while maintaining a client-centric approach

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive client experience

About you

• 1 year and above of insurance sales experience

• Proven experience working in client services, financial advisory or relationship management roles within banking, insurance or financial services sectors

• Strong knowledge of insurance products, investment instruments and financial planning principles

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to diverse clients

• This role involves regular communication with clients and stakeholders based in China, explaining the products in their language.

• Strong organisational and time management skills with capability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial services industry

• Diploma or degree qualification in Finance, Business, Economics or related field

• CMFAS Certification in Life and Health Insurance (RES 5, HI, M9, M9A, M8, M8A)

• Experience in the insurance technology sector or fintech environment would be advantageous
