Programme Assistant, Student Academy (Part-Time Locum)

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a part-time locum Programme Assistant to support our Student Academy. If you can dedicate 16 to 20 hours per week, we invite you to join our team where you will be paid an hourly rate. We're excited to offer a flexible opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact without full-time commitment.

Job Scope

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise daily routines: Oversee children during sign-in/temperature checks, lunch, shower, study, and activity sessions — maintaining order, discipline, and smooth transitions between programmes.
• Support schoolwork and individualized learning: Guide children through school assignments and assessments; provide one-on-one or small-group support in reading, writing, or math (with staff guidance).
• Classroom management: Set up and maintain materials/equipment, manage supplies, and support lesson prep,
• Support behaviour and well-being: Reinforce rules and positive values, help students stay focused, and support students in their emotional/physical well-being.
• Administrative Duties: Filing, photocopying, laminating, organizing student records, and basic classroom tech (projectors, computers, tablets).
• Closing of centre: Lock windows, lower blinds/curtains, turn off electrical switches.
• Makerspace support: Assist programme staff with activity setup, logistics, and general operational support

• Able to travel across other Student Academy centres (Cheng San/Sengkang)
