About this job
ATLAS is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to learn and grow within our Main Kitchen. This is a senior station-level role for a chef with strong technique, organisation and consistency; someone who can run their section confidently through preparation and service while supporting the junior chefs around them.
· Straight shifts over a stable 5 day working week, 44 hours per week
· European-inspired cuisine, elevated bistro classics, quality produce
· Base salary, monthly service charge, work anniversary bonus and other benefits
Take ownership of a section and develop your craft within the ATLAS brigade!
The culinary program at ATLAS focusses solely on European cuisine style, with elevated bistro classics showcasing simple, yet refined technique. Our food offering within that style is varied; our Dining menu encompasses bar snacks, formal entrée and main course dishes and a focused dessert selection from our pastry team; as well as an Afternoon Tea featuring both sweet and savoury elements, through to large scale canape menus for events and takeovers. Learn from an experienced Executive Chef and further develop your skills in a structured brigade, within a bustling venue.
About the venue:
Nestled in the heart of Singapore, ATLAS is a landmark of the region's cocktail culture, celebrated for its spectacular Art Deco setting and world-class hospitality. Our culinary program complements the bar with a refined, strong European cuisine style, alongside our world class Drinking Menu, Gin Collection and Wine Program.
About Job Position:
Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will take responsibility for an assigned section of the Main Kitchen, from mise en place and organisation through service, close-down and handover. As Chef de Partie, you are expected to run your section with consistency and discipline, execute ATLAS recipes and presentation standards, and help ensure service moves smoothly across the wider brigade.
You will also provide day-to-day guidance to Commis Chefs working within your section. This is a hands-on position for a chef who is ready to be accountable for their own station, continue developing under our senior kitchen leadership and build towards future supervisory roles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of an assigned Main Kitchen section, ensuring it is organised, fully prepared and service-ready.
· Prepare, cook and present savoury dishes according to ATLAS recipes, presentation standards and plating guidelines.
· Plan and execute mise en place for your section, managing timing and communicating clearly with the Sous Chef and neighbouring sections throughout service.
· Guide and support Commis Chefs working within the section; share technique, set clear expectations and provide practical on-the-job coaching.
· Maintain section stock levels, storage, labelling and rotation; minimise wastage and communicate ordering or replenishment needs promptly.
· Respond accurately to dietary requirements, allergens and guest-related adjustments while protecting quality and consistency.
· Maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness, equipment care, food safety and hygiene across the section.
· Lead by example with a positive, disciplined and hands-on approach, contributing to a collaborative and professional kitchen culture.
Job Requirements:
· Strong professional experience in a hot or Main Kitchen environment, ideally within a high-end restaurant, hotel or comparable quality-led hospitality operation.
· Confident running a section through preparation and busy service, with sound savoury technique and an understanding of European-inspired cuisine.
· Strong mise en place, organisation and time-management skills, with a focus on consistency and repeatable execution.
· Willingness to guide and support junior chefs while continuing to learn from the Sous Chef, Executive Chef and wider brigade.
· Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced operation and available for evenings, weekends and Public Holidays as required.
· A reliable team player with a positive attitude, clear communication skills and the accountability to take full ownership of their section.
