Refinery Technician (Instrument/Electrical) – Oil and Gas (Permanent – Jurong Island)

Our Client is a crude oil processing refinery in Jurong Island. They are looking for highly-motivated and achievement-oriented individuals who thrive in a team-based work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of instrument, analyser and electrical equipment & system, e.g. control valve, transmitters, switchgear control, motors, GC, boiling point, freeze point and flash point analyser, etc.

• Troubleshoot critical electrical equipments such as UPS, DC Charger, LV/HV switchgears

• Execute assembly, wiring and termination works on LV/HV switchboard

• Read and interpret electrical single line and schematics diagram

• Update and maintain electrical drawing documentation

• Ensure that all Electrical Safety, HSE and Safe Work Procedure(SWP) are followed

Requirements:

• Diploma or NITEC in a relevant Engineering discipline OR

• At least 3 years relevant experience in an oil refinery/ petrochemical plant, preferably with EMA license

• Candidates without relevant experience may be considered for entry-level positions

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
