Full time cleaners (Temporary position)

Job Summary

You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, toilets, and common areas at a preschool to ensure a safe environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, toilets, common areas, and other assigned spaces to ensure hygiene and safety
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe surfaces regularly to uphold cleanliness standards
• Dispose of rubbish promptly and replenish cleaning supplies to maintain operational readiness
• Assist with general housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to support daily operations
• Follow the preschool’s hygiene and safety procedures to protect children and staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment that supports the wellbeing of children and staff

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred
• Comfortable working in a preschool environment around young children
