Our client is an Singapore company in the Construction industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their Engineering team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.

Job Description:

Design & Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage the overall design process to ensure compliance with customer requirements, project specifications, and applicable standards. Review and clarify design requirements during design meetings with internal engineering teams, customers, consultants, and other stakeholders. Ensure all engineering deliverables meet tender and project specifications within the required timelines.

Engineering Documentation & Quality Control: Manage document control and ensure the latest specifications, drawings, technical documents, and revisions are properly distributed to all relevant parties. Check and verify engineering documentation, drawings, and technical deliverables against the approved system design and project requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Project & Site Coordination: Attend site meetings and coordinate all engineering and operational matters relating to project execution. Liaise closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, local authorities, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery. Identify and resolve design, technical, and coordination issues in a timely manner.

Resource & Project Planning: Manage engineering resource allocation based on project requirements. Define project tasks, engineering deliverables, manpower requirements, and resource needs. Develop and maintain tender and project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved on time.

Stakeholder Management: Act as a key engineering liaison between customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, local authorities, and internal teams. Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, tender clarifications, and project coordination meetings.

Energy Transition & Industry Development: Keep abreast of developments in the energy transition sector, regulatory changes, industry standards, emerging technologies, and market trends. Identify opportunities to incorporate new technologies, concepts, and engineering solutions into future projects. Contribute to the development of innovative solutions aligned with evolving energy-transition requirements.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
