Technical Specialist - Electronics / Electrical

Our client is a Germany-based MNC and a leading global provider of professional security, communications and electronics solutions.

Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Location: Bishan / Marymount

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair faulty electronic and electrical devices and systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Replace or repair defective components and parts to restore equipment functionality.
• Review and support repair activities from service centres across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Provide technical guidance and support on repair-related issues when required.
• Perform rework and repair activities according to established procedures and specifications.
• Read and interpret product service manuals, technical documents, schematics and diagrams.
• Ensure test and diagnostic equipment is properly maintained and operating accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, test results and maintenance activities.
• Communicate repair status, technical findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure all repair activities comply with workplace safety and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and electrical equipment.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of electronic and electrical systems.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals and diagrams.
