SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Role
As a Project Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring our scaffolding and formwork projects are delivered smoothly and successfully. You will work closely with our clients, contractors and internal teams, building strong relationships and making sure each project receives the attention and support it needs. You will also have the opportunity to grow our business by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships and helping to secure exciting new projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scaffolding and formwork projects from tender/quotation through to completion
- Coordinate with clients, main contractors, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams
- Review drawings, specifications, project requirements and site conditions
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and logistics
- Monitor project progress, costs, profitability and contractual requirements
- Manage variations, claims, quotations and other commercial matters.
- Resolve technical and operational issues to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key industry contacts
- Identify new construction projects and potential business opportunities
- Generate leads and develop a pipeline of new projects
- Meet with main contractors, developers and other construction stakeholders to understand their requirements
- Prepare quotations and proposals and follow up on tenders and enquiries
- Negotiate and close new business opportunities
- Expand the company's client base and market presence
- Work towards agreed business development and revenue targets
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering,Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in construction/project management
- Experience in scaffolding, formwork, temporary works or related construction solutions will be a strong advantage
- Good understanding of construction drawings, site operations and project coordination
- Experience dealing with main contractors, developers and construction clients
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working in teams and independently
Remuneration Package
Competitive Basic Salary PLUS Commission
