Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator

Job Summary

As a WSH / Safety Coordinator at LEE TECH ENGINEERING PTE.LTD., you will implement, monitor, and enforce environmental, health, and safety standards across our engineering and ACMV installation sites. You will conduct site inspections, carry out risk assessments, organize safety tool-box meetings, and ensure strict compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act(WSHA) and client EHS requirements to foster an incident-free working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site walks and inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions; implement immediate corrective and preventive actions.
• Risk Management & SWP: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Method Statements for ACMV, work-at-height, and general site activities.
• Safety Briefings & Training: Conduct daily tool-box meetings, safety inductions for newly deployed workers and subcontractors, and enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Permit-to-Work (PTW): Review, verify, and monitor PTW applications (e.g., hot work, work-at-height, confined space) prior to the commencement of high-risk tasks.
• Incident Investigation & Reporting: Assist in investigating workplace incidents, near-misses, or dangerous occurrences, and prepare incident investigation reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Regulatory Compliance & Liaison: Ensure compliance with statutory WSH regulations, NEA requirements, and client EHS guidelines; liaise closely with main contractor safety officers, project engineers, and government inspectors.
• Documentation & Records: Maintain organized safety documentation, statutory registers, inspection checklists, and monthly safety performance reports for audits.

Requirements& Qualifications

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH Level B) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a Safety Coordinator in the Singapore construction, M&E, or ACMV sector.
• Certified in Managing Work-At-Height (WAH) for Assessors / Supervisors and Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS) is preferred.

· Solid understanding of the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA), local EHS regulations, and MOM guidelines.

· Knowledge of or familiarity with ISO 45001Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems will be an added advantage.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage site workers, project managers, and client representatives firmly and professionally.

· Independent, vigilant, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills.

· Possession of a personal vehicle will be an added advantage.

· Immediate availability or short notice is an added advantage.
