Carpenter

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced to join our construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for carrying out carpentry, installation, repair, and finishing works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities :

• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
• Construct and install fixtures, doors, cabinets, and other wooden structures.
• Install and repair wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and workmanship to ensure accuracy.
• Carry out renovation, alteration, maintenance, and repair works as required.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Follow project schedules and complete assigned work within required deadlines.
• Comply with company policies, construction regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.

Job Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and measurements.
• Good knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction methods.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant carpentry qualification or trade certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in commercial or industrial construction is preferred.
