Client Account Services Executive
About this job
Weare looking for a candidate with a master’s degree in marketing/business and experience in hospitality and marketing. The ideal candidate will support business development for our ship management, managing ships provision, catering management for entire fleet, and procurement services to global shipowners and vessels.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management
- Support business development initiatives andcommercial activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships withexisting and prospective clients.
- Respond to customer enquiries and coordinate service requirements.
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, presentations, and client reports.
- Support tender submissions and commercial documentation.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
Marine Services Coordination
- Coordinate vessel provisioning requirements, including food provisions, bonded stores, cabin stores, and other vessel supplies.
- Ensure onboard victualling is managed well within the approved budgets across the fleet.
- Coordinate crew welfare, accommodation, transportation, and hospitality-related services when required.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and client feedback on catering standards, victualling, bonded stores.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and business partners.
- Coordinate between internal departments to ensure smooth service execution.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare regular commercial and operational reports.
- Monitor service quality and customer feedback.
- Support invoicing and documentation processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in client relationship management, account servicing, stakeholder engagement, business support, or operations coordination roles.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing customer enquiries,service requests, escalations, and issue resolution in a professional andtimely manner.
- Experience coordinating activities acrossmultiple stakeholders to ensure successful service delivery, accommodationarrangements, transportation, and hospitality-related support.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in customer relations, account management, partnership management, service delivery coordination, commercial support, or vendor management will be advantageous.
- Prior experience in the maritime, shipping, logistics, or marine services industry is an advantage but not mandatory. Candidates with strong transferable stakeholder management and service coordination experience are welcome to apply.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and respond to urgent vessel requirements outside normal office hours when necessary.
