IT & Maintenance Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and resourceful IT & Maintenance Executive to provide technical and maintenance support for our Head Office and retail outlets.

The role will be responsible for basic IT troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, minor repairs and coordination of maintenance works to ensure that our outlets and office operate smoothly.

The successful candidate should be comfortable travelling between locations, identifying problems, carrying out basic repairs independently and coordinating with external vendors for more specialised works.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for Head Office and retail outlets.
• Troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, POS systems, Wi-Fi/network connectivity and other IT equipment.
• Set up computers, user accounts, email accounts, printers and other workplace devices for new users.
• Assist with installation, configuration and basic maintenance of hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot common system, connectivity and device issues.
• Maintain basic records of company IT equipment and devices.
• Liaise with external IT vendors for issues requiring specialized technical support.

Maintenance & Repair

• Conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance of outlet and office equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and perform basic hands-on repairs where possible.
• Attend to maintenance issues involving fixtures, fittings and general outlet facilities.
• Identify faults and determine whether issues can be repaired internally or require external servicing.
• Coordinate repair and maintenance works with contractors and external vendors.
• Follow up on outstanding maintenance issues until completion.
• Maintain records of repairs, servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Support outlet setup, relocation or installation of equipment when required.

About You

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Facilities Management or a related technical field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, technical support, maintenance, repair or facilities support.
• Hands-on experience in IT troubleshooting and/or equipment maintenance and repair.
• Basic understanding of computers, printers, POS systems and network/Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Comfortable using tools and carrying out basic repairs and maintenance work.
• Resourceful and able to troubleshoot problems independently.
• Comfortable travelling regularly between Head Office and retail outlets.
• Able to coordinate effectively with contractors and vendors.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and respond to operational issues promptly.
