Senior Educational Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Education Consultant to join our team at Olive Tree Educational Solutions. This role is ideal for an educator with a strong background in special education who is passionate about empowering children with diverse learning needs.

As a Senior Education Consultant, you will:

Lead intervention programmes for children aged 4–13 years old across a range of learning profiles.

Apply specialised teaching strategies in English, Mathematics, or Language to support academic growth.

Conduct intake screenings and formulate Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs.

Design and implement a curriculum aligned with the MOE Singapore Syllabus, adapted to suit children with different learning needs.

Deliver engaging lessons, monitor progress, and evaluate goals to ensure measurable outcomes.

Generate detailed performance reports for parents and stakeholders.

Manage small group classes, including children with challenging behaviours, using positive behaviour support strategies.

Collaborate with families and schools to ensure skills are generalised across settings.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in special education teaching.
• Degree in Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, or higher.
• Proven expertise in specialised instructional strategies for English, Mathematics, or Language.
• Strong ability to work with children across a range of developmental and learning needs.
• Experience in designing and implementing IEPs and conducting progress evaluations.
• Skilled in curriculum development aligned with the MOE Singapore Syllabus.
• Effective classroom management skills, particularly with children who present behavioural challenges.
• Experience in managing student's cases in partnership with Family and School Collaboration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Passionate about fostering independence, resilience, and confidence in learners.
