The Role
The ambulance driver ensures safe and efficient transport of patients.
Key Result Area
- Responsible to drive the ambulance in accordance to all road safety and traffic rules
- Ensures prompt evacuation of patients from home to Parkway facilities for medical care
- Assist in portering patient for X-rays or to the wards for admission, or to home after discharge fro hospital if required
- To perform duties pertaining to care and maintenance of the ambulance
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess Class 3 driving license
- Skills and knowledge
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Defensive Driving Course
- Navigational skills including use of GPS
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
