Job Summary

The Associate, ESG supports the delivery of ESG and sustainability advisory engagements by assisting with reporting, data analysis, regulatory research, and project coordination. This role contributes to the team by preparing accurate client-ready deliverables, supporting compliance with relevant reporting frameworks and exchange requirements, and helping clients strengthen their sustainability reporting and ESG practices.

This role sits within the ESG department.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare ESG and sustainability reports aligned with relevant reporting frameworks.

· Conduct materiality assessments, stakeholder mapping, and ESG gap analyses.

· Collect, validate, and analyse ESG data with audit-ready documentation.

· Support carbon foot printing and climate assessments, including emissions calculations.

· Research ESG regulations, trends, and market practices across jurisdictions.

· Prepare accurate client-ready reports, presentations, proposals, and engagement materials.

· Track timelines and coordinate stakeholders to support timely project delivery.

· Support client meetings and senior team delivery of advisory engagements.

Skills & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, finance, accounting or other related fields.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in ESG, reporting and audit, consulting or advisory will be advantageous.

· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Good communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively.

· Strong attention to detail, project management skills, and ability to manage deadlines.

· Proactive, collaborative, and willing to learn in advisory environments.

· Knowledge of ESG frameworks, disclosure standards, climate modelling and regulatory requirements is advantageous.

· ESG or sustainability reporting certifications or training are advantageous.
