IT Support Specialist

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic support team as a Support Desk Engineer (Day Shift Only), where you will provide exceptional technical assistance for Microsoft 365 to a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-user technical support for Microsoft 365, focusing on meeting the needs of Japanese-speaking clients.
• Manage incidents and service requests, performing initial troubleshooting and escalating issues as necessary.
• Oversee user accounts, permissions, and configuration modifications.
• Execute operational tasks related to Microsoft 365 using PowerShell, including administration and automation of routine tasks.
• Create and manage support tickets, documenting troubleshooting processes and resolutions using ITSM tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to facilitate issue resolution and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Maintain and update knowledge articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
• Provide support coverage during standard business hours in accordance with the assigned day-shift schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT Helpdesk or Service Desk support.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 fundamentals and support operations.
• Preferred experience in PowerShell scripting and administration.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Dynamics 365.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience supporting a global user base or working in multilingual environments.
• Proficient in Japanese to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients.
