Our client is an energy storage terminal, delivering secure, efficient and reliable storage solutions for the energy industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Maintenance Planner & Reliability Coordinator to join their Maintenance team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.
They are located in Jurong Island – company transport provided from Jurong East MRT
Position Summary:
This role reports directly to the Senior Maintenance & Repair Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
Create and upkeep preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for terminal assets
Align maintenance activities with Operations, HSE, and contractors to minimize operational downtime
Prepare comprehensive maintenance work packs, job plans, and shutdown schedules
Track maintenance backlog and set work priorities based on risk, reliability, and operational needs
Monitor maintenance KPIs including schedule compliance, equipment availability, and work order completion
Asset Management
Maintain and update the equipment register and asset hierarchy
Ensure equipment history records are complete and accurate
Support reliability improvement efforts by analyzing equipment failures and recurring issues
Assist in formulating maintenance strategies for critical terminal equipment
Coordinate the implementation of the PdM program and carry out reliability analysis of equipment
Technical Documentation & Drawing Management
Update and maintain as-built drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and site plans
Handle drawing revisions and engineering document control processes
Ensure technical documentation accurately reflects current plant configurations
Support Management of Change (MOC) processes by updating affected maintenance records and drawings
Contractor & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate contractor work schedules and site access requirements
Assist procurement activities by preparing technical specifications for spare parts and services
Monitor contractor performance and track work completion status
Verify that maintenance records and contractor documentation are properly filed
CMMS Administration
Maintain maintenance data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Create and manage work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and equipment records
Generate maintenance reports and planning metrics for management review
Ensure data quality and consistency within the CMMS platform
HSE Responsibilities
Adhere to terminal HSSE policies, procedures, and permit-to-work requirements
Take part in risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations when required
Ensure maintenance activities are planned in line with safe work practices and regulatory requirements
Foster a strong safety culture within maintenance and contractor teams
Candidate Requirements:
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 3 years in maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, or asset management within industrial facilities. Experience in oil & gas terminals, petrochemical plants, tank farms, or similar process industries is preferred. Familiarity with Predictive Maintenance Systems such as Vibration & Temperature monitoring. Experience handling API653 Tank out-of-service maintenance and Rotating Equipment Overhauling is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, or equivalent)
Working knowledge of maintenance planning methodologies
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
AutoCAD knowledge is advantageous
