About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our Finance team. This role offers broad exposure across finance and accounting, including day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing, management reporting, budgeting, compliance and process improvement.

The successful candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, a high level of accuracy and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions and geographies.

Job Description

• Assist with full-set of accounts including AR, AP, bank reconciliation, claims, payroll, accruals, etc.
• Assist with month-end, year-end closing and preparation of management accounts.
• Assist with preparation and monitoring of department budget together with stakeholders.
• Ensure that finance schedules & reports are accurately updated in a timely manner.
• Liaise with auditors, corp sec, and tax agents for audit and compliance matters.
• Lead and participate in process improvement and SOP creation projects.
• Any other ad-hoc finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy.
• Strong accounting fundamentals.
• Fresh graduates are welcome. Previous accounting experience, including internships, is an advantage but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Highly proficient in advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s etc.)
• Tech savvy, willing to learn and use a variety of apps/software (e.g. Xero, Slack, Clickup, etc)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of ownership over assigned duties.
