- Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/ Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
- Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on site quality and safety issues.
- Determine any non-conformances on works
- Liaise with Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
- Ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable time frame.
- Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
- Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site
- Good experience in Preparing the lifting plans through Auto CAD for all type of lifting activities and coordinate all lifting activities, attend safety meeting for special equipment’s prior to lift and get approval from client and safety department. Attend Weekly, Monthly safety meeting as per client requirement.
- Well planning and arrangement of Tandem Lift and Heavy Lift. Crane selection and arrangement of both cranes lifting gears as per Lifting Plan, Apply the permits for pre-planned Lifting activities, Crane
- inspection and Crane Preventive Maintenance carried out through client and third parties.
- Maintain and control whole site Plant and Equipment (P&E) weekly, monthly inspection through equipment contractors. Maintain Journey Management Plan (JMP) for the whole site vehicle and equipment’s movement.
- Carried out Weekly Lifting gears inspection and Monthly crane inspection and send the reports to client and safety department.
- Verify and approve the contractors’ lifting plans and lifting permits and check all rigging methods for all lifting activities.
- Inspect cranes and check the crane condition before bringing to the site through join inspection and collect all crane documents maintain the records.
- Conduct interview and exam for all Lifting supervisors and Rigger Signalman and issue appointment letter before start lifting activities.
- Conduct weekly lifting coordination meeting to all contractor lifting supervisors and lifting personals with client lifting specialist and safety personal.
- Conduct Safe Lifting and Rigging practice Training for Lifting Supervisors, Rigger Signalman and Crane Operators.
- Responsible for delivering the field mechanical work in a safe and effective manner that does NO HARM to employees, the environment or equipment.
- Responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and piping tie-in works are completed in accordance with the project specification, drawings and other relevant documentation as per planned schedule in the brown field environment.
- Conduct and record site inspections and risk assessments (including Hazard ID, risk analysis and control). Plan work activities and identify hazards and controls in consultation with employees.
- Provide and maintain a safe working environment and manage the Safety and Environmental performance of all personnel on site. Achievement of the Project Safety and Environmental Targets.
- Promotes and personally demonstrates commitment to the company’s HSE targets.
- Be familiar with construction work and permit procedures and statutory requirements.
- minimum 7 years lta experience preferably in Tunnel projects
- able to work based on shift work (day or night)
Supervise installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site by supervisor /client
