Accounts Executive

Job Description:

• Handle full sets of accounts
• Perform timely month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and provisions.
• Prepare monthly management reports such as Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
• Ensure accurate GST submissions and compliance with IRAS and ACRA regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare supporting schedules for audit purposes.
• Monitor daily cash flow positions and manage corporate bank accounts.
• Serve as the main liaison with banks on operational matters, account documentation, opening/closing of accounts and renewal of banking facilities.
• Support foreign exchange transactions and assist in managing financial risks such as currency and interest rate exposure.
• Prepare cash flow reports and bank reconciliations accurately and promptly.
• Maintain proper records within banking portals and ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
• Provide backup support to the non-trade accounts payable function when required.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAPB1 and exposure to treasury functions will be advantageous.
