Job Description & Requirements

Carden SG is looking for a proactive and personable Business Development Executive to grow our corporate workshops, live stations, gifting and bespoke scent services.

The main focus of this role is to manage and convert inbound enquiries, develop new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships. You will also occasionally coordinate and oversee confirmed events to ensure smooth delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Manage inbound enquiries via email, WhatsApp and other channels.

• Understand client requirements, budgets and event objectives and recommend suitable solutions.

• Prepare quotations, proposals and presentation materials.

• Follow up consistently on enquiries and quotations to convert leads into confirmed bookings.

• Conduct outbound outreach to companies, event agencies, schools and potential partners.

• Reconnect with past clients to generate repeat business.

• Conduct client calls and meetings when required.

• Identify opportunities for add-ons, gifting and other Carden SG services.

• Maintain an organised sales pipeline and work towards sales and conversion targets.

Client & Event Coordination

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

• Coordinate confirmed booking details, timelines, payments and client requirements.

• Hand over event requirements clearly to trainers and facilitators.

• Occasionally take charge of selected workshops, live stations or corporate events, including coordinating manpower, setup and on-site execution.

• Support selected evening, weekend and off-site events when required.

Requirements

• Experience in business development, sales, account management, client servicing or events is preferred.

• Fresh graduates or career switchers with strong communication and sales aptitude may apply.

• Confident communicating with clients via email, WhatsApp, calls and meetings.

• Comfortable following up with leads and working towards sales targets.

• Organised and able to manage multiple enquiries, bookings and deadlines.

• Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently.

• Comfortable with occasional hands-on event work and travelling to external venues.

• Experience with corporate clients, events or procurement is an advantage.

• Interest in fragrance, wellness or creative experiences is a plus.
