About this job
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of building electrical systems and equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults, power failures, and lighting systems.
- Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and distribution boards.
- Maintain and service electrical panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and generators.
- Monitor and maintain emergency lighting systems and electrical safety devices.
- Attend to tenants' and building users' electrical maintenance requests.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and electrical regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers during maintenance and upgrading works.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and inspection checklists.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
