Semiconductor Assistant Engineer

Job Summary

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration onequipment in a cleanroom environment. Collaborate with engineers totroubleshoot and resolve hardware issues. Communicate with vendors and providetraining to colleagues. Work 12-hour rotating shifts at Woodlands Micron Fab10.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled equipment preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure operational reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform corrective maintenance including calibration and parts replacement.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, peer specialists, and external vendors to resolve technical problems.
• Provide advanced training to less experienced colleagues to enhance team capabilities.
• Complete other ad-hoc duties as assigned, with overtime pay.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or ITE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials, or Engineering related field.
• Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills applied to problem-solving in technical maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to support teamwork and training.
• Willingness to learn and maintain a positive working attitude.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, alternating day and night shifts every 2-3 months.

• Work in a cleanroom environment for extended hours.
