Partnership & Fundraising Executive
About this job
About FootballPlus
FootballPlus uses football to reach and develop young people across Singapore and the region, running programmes such as Champions and STAY in the Game, and hosting Game Changer, our flagship fundraising event.
Our work depends on strong, lasting relationships with donors, corporate partners, and grant funders.
Role Purpose
The Partnership & Fundraising Executive supports FootballPlus' fundraising engine by helping build and maintain donor and corporate partner relationships, executing fundraising campaigns and events, and supporting the search for and administration of grants. This is an execution-focused role that works closely with, and reports to, the Managing Director, contributing to the same fundraising outcomes at an operational level.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the development of relationships with corporate partners and individual donors, helping build a pipeline of contacts that can grow into meaningful, ongoing support.
• Assist in researching, identifying, and tracking new individual and corporate donor prospects, and grant opportunities from foundations and government funders.
• Prepare grant applications, letters of inquiry, and donor proposals under guidance, and help keep a live calendar of application and reporting deadlines.
• Support the planning and on-the-ground execution of fundraising campaigns and events, including Game Changer, coordinating logistics, outreach, and follow-up.
• Help prepare funder reports and acquittals, working with the finance team to ensure figures and programme updates are accurate and submitted on time.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date donor and partner records in the fundraising database or CRM, including gift acknowledgements and correspondence.
• Draft donor communications such as thank-you letters, updates, and campaign appeal content, in FootballPlus'voice.
• Represent FootballPlus at donor meetings, site visits, and events as needed, supporting the Managing Director in stewarding key relationships.
• Flag risks, delays, or opportunities in the fundraising pipeline to the Managing Director in a timely manner.
What Success Looks Like
• Donor and partner contacts are well-documented, followed up on promptly, and steadily converting into supporters.
• Grant and funder deadlines are never missed, and application quality is consistently high.
• Fundraising events and campaigns run smoothly on the ground, with clear before-and-after communication to donors.
• The fundraising pipeline is visible and current, so leadership always has an accurate picture of where things stand.
Requirements
• 1-3 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, sales, business development, or a related relationship-driven role; nonprofit or sports/community-sector experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable drafting donor-facing materials and speaking with corporate contacts.
• Well organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple donor relationships, deadlines, and reporting requirements at once.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and a CRM or donor database; familiarity with giving.sg or similar platforms is a plus.
• A genuine interest in FootballPlus' mission and youth development through football.
• Able to work some evenings or weekends around fundraising events, including Game Changer.
Reporting Line & Growth
This role reports to the Managing Director. It is designed as a platform for someone building a career in fundraising and partnerships: strong performers who develop their own donor portfolio and grant track record can grow into more senior fundraising responsibility over time.
Compensation
Base salary commensurate with experience, plus a performance-linked incentive structure tied to funds raised. Full details provided at offer stage.
