About the Role: We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in commercial interior fit-out projects across the F&B, retail, office, and hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of projects from initial design development through on-site execution to final handover, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Management: Oversee commercial fit-out projects from concept, procurement, and site setup to defect rectification and final handover.
Design & Technical Support: Collaborate closely with the interior design team to review drawings, resolve technical details, and ensure buildability.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Lead project meetings, deliver client presentations, and act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, landlords, and authorities.
On-Site Supervision & Coordination: Manage sub-contractors to enforce work progress, quality standards, and safety regulations (WSH).
Authority & Landlord Submissions: Handle necessary local submission procedures and coordinate approvals with relevant authorities (BCA, SCDF, PUB) and building management.
Budget & Schedule Control: Monitor project timelines, track costs, manage variation orders (VOs), and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Requirements:
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant project management experience in commercial interior fit-out projects (F&B, Retail, Office, or Hospitality) in Singapore.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Project/Construction Management, or a related field.
- Software & Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop, with strong hand-sketching abilities to resolve site issues quickly.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of all phases of interior design and fit-out construction, including local building codes, landlord reinstatement/fitting-out guidelines, and materials.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with English-speaking clients and Mandarin-speaking site contractors/suppliers.
- Soft Skills: Creative mindset, strong leadership capability, and the agility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Procurement Expertise: Strong background in sourcing building/interior materials, negotiating vendor rates, reviewing material samples, and managing supply chain lead times.
