Permit Declarant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit import, export, and transshipment declarations accurately via TradeNet in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Ensure full adherence to Singapore Customs regulations, permit conditions, and trade compliance standards.

• Perform precise HS code classification and determine appropriate permit types for all shipments.

• Monitor declaration and permit statuses, resolving discrepancies or system issues promptly.

• Maintain complete and well-organized documentation in line with internal and regulatory requirements.

• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely cargo clearance.

• Verify shipment documents to ensure accuracy in value declaration and compliance.

• Handle time-sensitive shipments efficiently while minimizing risks and delays.

• Continuously improve workflows and operational processes.

Requirements:

• Possess Customs Competency Cert will be added advantage

• Knowledge in Tradenet/ Customs Regulations will be added advantage

• Knowledge in Valuable Cargo will be added advantage

• Experience in international movements of cargo, freight forwarding or logistics industry will be added advantage

• At least 2 year’s relevant experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Strong interpersonal skills
