Key Account Specialist (Sales)

Role Overview

The Key Account Specialist (Sales) supports the management of strategic customer accounts while independently managing and growing a portfolio of assigned customer accounts. This role combines account coordination, commercial execution, and business development responsibilities. The Key Account Specialist (Sales) serves as a key commercial interface between customers and Fu Yu, ensuring customer requirements are met while identifying and developing growth opportunities within assigned accounts.

For assigned customers, the Key Account Specialist (Sales) is responsible for account performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. The Key Account Specialist (Sales) is expected to proactively identify opportunities for new programs, product expansions, and long-term account development. The role also supports Key Account Managers in executing strategies for larger strategic accounts and ensuring elective coordination across Fu Yu’s multi-site manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts and their growth.

• Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned customer accounts.

• Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts

• Proactively identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts

• Identify risks and opportunities within assigned accounts

• Support continuation and expansion of existing programs

• Track and develop sales opportunities

• Support preparation of business proposals

• Work with engineering teams on feasibility discussions

• Support Key Account Managers in managing strategic accounts

• Work with engineering teams on feasibility discussions

• Prepare quotations and commercial submissions

• Coordinate activities across Fu Yu sites in Singapore, Malaysia, and China

• Track customer issues and complaints and follow up with corrective actions

• Maintain quotation records and support in sales forecasts

• Prepare account reports and support in account reviews

• Maintain project documentation and update internal systems

• Support preparation of presentations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Account Growth

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Fresh graduates with Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• Internship experience in sales, engineering, or manufacturing will be considered a plus.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or willingness to learn.

• Proficiency in Microsoft O􀆯ice applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
