Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary:

Be the face of Singapore's No.1 Durian Cake Maker! Emicakes is looking for vibrant, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistants to manage our outlet operations. You will ensure a warm, inviting shopping experience for our customers, assist with cake selection and custom orders, and maintain a beautifully stocked counter. No prior F&B experience is required, as a comprehensive on-the-job training program will be provided.

Location: Tampines 1

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Experience & Cake Sales

• Warmly greet walk-in customers and provide friendly, personalized recommendations on our signature durian and eggless cakes.
• Guide customers through advanced booking and customization options for celebration and birthday cakes.
• Process retail sales accurately using our Point-of-Sale (POS) cash register system.
• Introduce existing store promotions, seasonal deals, and company marketing initiatives to customers.

2. Outlet Operations & Order Management

• Coordinate closely with our central kitchen production team to track, update, and manage customer cake collection requests.
• Handle and fulfill online orders via localized food delivery platform devices (e.g., GrabFood, Foodpanda).
• Execute shop opening and closing procedures diligently according to standard operational shift rosters.
• Perform accurate daily stock counts, record inventory takings, and report damaged or low stock counts to supervisors.

3. Merchandising & Counter Upkeep

• Replenish, refill, and beautifully arrange chiller display counters to keep merchandise eye-catching throughout the day.
• Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, and neatness standards across the display shelves and retail floor area.

Job Requirements & Competencies:

• Education: Minimum GCE 'O' Level, 'N' Level, or equivalent certification.
• Language: Ability to communicate clearly in spoken English
• Skills: Comfort with basic mathematical skills for accurate cashiering, transaction handling, and payment processing.
• Attributes: Meticulous, highly responsible, and maintains an energetic, positive attitude under fast-paced retail settings.
• Experience: No prior experience is required; passionate individuals seeking an entry into F&B are welcome.
