Head of Compliance – Crypto and Digital Assets Firm

The Role

We are partnering with a leading global crypto and digital assets firm and they are seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to lead regulatory engagement, strengthen governance frameworks, and drive compliance strategy across the business.

This is a senior leadership role with direct exposure to regulators and executive stakeholders, offering the opportunity to shape compliance practices within a highly regulated and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's compliance function and regulatory strategy
• Act as the primary liaison with regulators and oversee licensing matters
• Strengthen AML/CFT, financial crime and risk management frameworks
• Provide compliance oversight across payments and digital asset activities
• Partner closely with business, operations and product teams to ensure regulatory requirements are embedded into new initiatives
• Advise senior management on regulatory developments and compliance risks

Requirements

• Approximately 10+ years of compliance experience within fintech, payments, crypto or digital assets
• Proven track record engaging directly with MAS and managing regulatory relationships
• Strong end-to-end compliance framework design and implementation experience
• Familiarity with DPT regulations and digital asset activities preferred
• Strong AML/CFT, financial crime, and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
