ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTER

1. Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects.
2. Develop layout plans, ceiling plans, partition details, joinery drawings, furniture details, and MEP coordination drawings.
3. Review architectural and design drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
4. Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
5. Conduct site measurements and surveys to verify dimensions before preparing drawings.
6. Revise drawings based on client comments, consultant feedback, and site conditions.
7. Prepare material take-offs and quantity calculations from approved drawings.
8. Ensure all drawings comply with local authority requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
9. Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and project documentation.
10. Support project teams during construction by providing technical drafting assistance and updating drawings as required.
11. Prepare submission drawings for client and consultant approvals.
12. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for custom joinery and furniture production drawings.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out, renovation, or construction projects, preferably with a focus on timber doors.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, or BIM software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out construction details and joinery works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
