Hairstylist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Hairstylist who can independently provide high-quality hair services while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should be confident in hair cutting, styling, colouring, treatments, and client consultation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair services including haircuts, blow-drying, styling, colouring, highlights, bleaching, perming, rebonding, and hair treatments.

• Conduct consultations to understand clients' preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles, colours, and treatments.

• Perform services efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.

• Keep up to date with current hair trends, techniques, and styling methods.

• Recommend appropriate hair-care products and aftercare routines to clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits.

• Ensure all tools, equipment, and workstations are clean and properly maintained.

• Maintain a professional and welcoming appearance and attitude at all times.

• Handle client concerns professionally and provide appropriate solutions.

• Work collaboratively with other salon team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Assist junior stylists or salon assistants with techniques and service procedures when required.

• Maintain awareness of product usage and salon inventory.

• Follow all salon policies, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional hairstyling experience preferred.

• Strong skills in haircutting, colouring, styling, and hair treatments.

• Experience handling different hair types and textures.

• Good understanding of colour theory and chemical hair services.

• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about hairstyling.

• Professional, reliable, and well-groomed.

• Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.
