Senior/Occupational Therapist

• Competitive Salary Package (Commensurate with experience)
• 5 Day Work Week: Mondays –Fridays, 8:00am – 5:30pm
• Location: Multiple Locations Available to choose from (Central, North, East, North-East)
• Permanent full-time / part-time opportunities available

A leading provider of senior care and community healthcare services is seeking Senior Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapists to support seniors in maintaining independence and improving their quality of life through rehabilitation and meaningful daily activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess clients’ physical, cognitive, psychosocial and occupational needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Provide occupational therapy interventions to support independence and meaningful participation in daily activities
• Conduct caregiver training and education
• Prescribe appropriate aids and assistive devices
• Conduct home assessments and recommend modifications where required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
• Participate in quality improvement, research and collaborative projects
• Conduct training for therapists, support staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and service standards

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Experience in rehabilitation, community care or working with seniors is advantageous
