Java Full stack Engineer, AWS

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build, deliver, and operate cloud-native enterprise applications. This role combines software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, and production support responsibilities, with ownership from design through deployment and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Build backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop modern web applications using React and Next.js.
• Design and maintain APIs, system integrations, secure file transfers, and messaging solutions.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Support deployments, monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including API Gateway, Lambda, and ECS/EKS.
• AWS Associate Certification or higher.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, system integrations, Terraform, and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Aurora, Oracle, SFTP, and messaging platforms such as AWS MQ, RabbitMQ, or SQS.

Preferred

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Government or regulated industry platforms.
