Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Duration: 12 Months (renewable)
Role Summary
Design, implement, operate, and continuously improve enterprise DevSecOps platforms and CI/CD capabilities.
Build and maintain automated software delivery pipelines across multiple application portfolios and environments.
Enable secure, reliable, scalable, and repeatable application deployments.
Implement deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native delivery practices.
Support development teams in improving deployment efficiency, governance, and operational resilience.
Standardize DevOps practices, tools, workflows, and engineering standards across projects.
Work closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Developers, Test Engineers, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
Implement automated deployment, configuration management, environment provisioning, and rollback processes.
Support application releases across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Troubleshoot deployment and pipeline issues and provide production implementation support.
Integrate security, code quality, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Develop scripts and automation to reduce manual effort and improve deployment reliability and consistency.
Support Kubernetes/OpenShift-based application platforms and containerized application deployments.
Manage application configurations, secrets, deployment artifacts, and infrastructure automation.
Support incident investigation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational readiness.
Drive adoption of DevOps/DevSecOps best practices, standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Technical Skills
CI/CD & DevOps: GitLab CI/CD, Source Code Management, CI/CD pipeline design, release management, deployment automation.
Project & Documentation Tools: Jira Administration, Confluence Administration.
Cloud: AWS services including EC2, Security Groups, S3, and related cloud infrastructure.
Containers: Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, containerized application deployment.
Automation: Shell Scripting, Python, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Security & Quality: SonarQube, Nexus Repository, NexusIQ, vulnerability management, security scanning.
DevSecOps: Shift-left security, security integration, compliance checks, security remediation.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, environment automation.
Operations: Production deployment support, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis.
Delivery Management: Release management, operational readiness, deployment governance, and auditability.

Preferred Experience
Experience in enterprise DevOps platform engineering.
Strong experience designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS.
Experience with containerized and cloud-native application deployments.
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation.
Experience integrating security and quality tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with vulnerability management and DevSecOps practices.
Experience supporting production deployments, incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Experience working in regulated environments with governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
Strong stakeholder management, technical guidance, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement skills.
