The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Data Centre, you will manage daily operations of the NETS Data Centre, ensuring system uptime, security, and smooth coordination with support teams to maintain service availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily data centre operations including batch processing, report printing, system backups, tape management, server reboots, and infrastructure checks to maintain operational efficiency
• Monitor data centre system uptime and connectivity proactively to ensure continuous system availability and prevent downtime
• Log and submit problem management records and assign issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution
• Enforce physical security procedures within the data centre to safeguard infrastructure and assets
• Escort personnel safely to and from the Data Centres at Kim Chuan and Bedok locations

Required competencies and certifications

• Able to perform 24-hour rotational shifts (3 shifts) to support continuous data centre operations
• Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, UNIX, and AIX operating systems
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a Data Centre environment
• Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work independently
