MFG Tech-Senior/Electronics Engineer

MFG technology- Electronics Engineer role requires a strong background in troubleshooting sensors, signal processing, and high-temperature devices and instruments. This role focuses on the manufacturing, testing, and tuning of electronic instruments used in the oil and gas sector, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Role and Responsibilities:

Manufacturing and Testing:

• Oversee the manufacturing process of electronic instruments, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and implement testing procedures for electronic components and systems, particularly sensors and signal processing units.
• Conduct rigorous testing of high-temperature devices to ensure reliability and performance under extreme conditions.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with electronic instruments, focusing on sensor functionality and signal processing accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of electronic devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve any manufacturing issues related to electronics.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all electronic instruments meet company quality standards and industry regulations.
• Conduct quality audits and inspections of electronic components and systems.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, troubleshooting processes, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare and present technical reports on the performance and reliability of electronic instruments.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of electronic components.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff on the proper use and maintenance of electronic instruments.
• Liaise with suppliers and external partners to ensure the quality and availability of electronic components.

Skills and Experiences:

• Strong knowledge of electronic engineering principles, particularly in sensor technology and signal processing.
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting and maintaining high-temperature electronic devices and instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic testing equipment and software tools.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics engineering, with a focus on manufacturing, testing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of industry standards relevant to electronic instruments in the oil and gas sector.
