QUANTITY SURVEYOR (M&E)

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare initial budget estimates, cost plans, and feasibility studies specifically for M&E services.
• Tender Documentation: Measure and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BQ), pricing schedules, and tender documents.
• Tender Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate M&E tender submissions from subcontractors, perform cost comparisons, and provide negotiation recommendations.

• Subcontractor Management: Source, negotiate, and award subcontracts for various M&E trade packages.
• Progress Claims & Payments: Evaluate monthly progress claims submitted by subcontractors, conduct site verifications, and recommend progressive payments.
• Client Claims: Prepare and submit progressive monthly claims and cash flow projections to the client/consultant.

• VO Management: Identify, measure, value, and negotiate Variation Orders (VOs) with clients and subcontractors promptly.
• Final Accounts: Settle and close final accounts amicably with both clients and subcontractors upon project completion.
• Cost Reporting: Monitor project expenses against budget and prepare monthly cost reports to highlight potential overruns.
