Kitchen Assistant

Monthly Salary: Up to $2,300 (Negotiable)
Working Address: Thomson Plaza or Plaza Singapura
Working Hours: 6-day work week (minimum 44 hours)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Follow workplace safety procedures at all times in the kitchen

• Maintain food hygiene standards

• Ensure cleanliness of assigned workstations

• Apply the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method for food items and kitchen supplies, while maintaining accurate stock levels

• Assist in the preparation of meals

• Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management team

• Perform daily kitchen opening and closing procedures

• Handle various kitchen stations confidently

• Assist with stock receiving and stock counts

• Support with ordering of supplies

• Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience in a professional F&B kitchen environment is preferred

• Possession of a valid Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage, but not required

• Able to work a 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays
