Backend Developer with Hadoop

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Design and develop REST APIs for large-scale applications.
• Work with the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS and related technologies.
• Build and support applications running on distributed data platforms.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning and production support.
• Work with Linux/Unix environments and Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve technical issues.
• Use Git, Bitbucket and Jira for source control and project tracking.
• Support storage platform migration and modernization initiatives where required.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Good experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
• Strong experience in REST API development.
• Good knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, HDFS and distributed data platforms.
• Experience working with large-scale applications and high-volume data environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket and Jira.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Experience in production support.
• Experience with storage migration/modernization projects is an advantage.
