HSE Lead / WSHO (O&G / Petrochemical – Bukom)

Salary: $6,000 – $6,500 per month

Location: Pulau Bukom, Singapore

Working Hours: Mon – Thu, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description

Our client, a global leader in industrial services supporting major O&G and petrochemical operations, is seeking an experienced HSE Lead/WSHO to lead HSE and compliance functions for shutdown and turnaround projects at their Bukom site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all HSE and compliance functions across projects and maintenance activities, driving regulatory compliance and safe work execution
• Manage HSE for shutdown/turnaround projects with workforces of 200+ personnel, from planning through project close-out
• Oversee high-risk work activities including confined space entry, blasting/TSA operations, engineered scaffolding, and SIMOPS coordination
• Manage Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) programs, including safe insulation removal and hazardous material handling
• Lead risk management and assurance programs, safety audits, and workplace inspections
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and workplace complaints; ensure timely reporting and root cause analysis
• Drive continual improvement of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS)
• Prepare HSEQ performance reports and safety metrics for management review
• Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement and proactive safety initiatives

Requirements

• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (Level C)
• MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
• Prior experience in shutdown/turnaround HSE leadership within O&G, petrochemical, or related heavy industry preferred
