Principal Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of projects and enhancements in the private banking domain.
• Drive solution design, architecture discussions, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Oversee the delivery lifecycle – from requirements gathering, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications built on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native development where applicable.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in financial services technology.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development and solution delivery.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Proven track record in leading technical delivery teams within the private banking domain.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive delivery in an Agile/DevOps environment.
