Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an Engineer to support engineering, technical, project, manufacturing, construction, or operational activities. The role will vary depending on the business and project requirements, and may involve design, project coordination, troubleshooting, process improvement, testing, installation, maintenance, or technical support.

The successful candidate should have strong technical and problem-solving skills and be able to work with internal teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, or other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for projects, operations, production, or engineering activities.
• Assist in the planning, design, implementation, testing, installation, commissioning, or maintenance of engineering systems, equipment, or projects.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, technical documents, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project, production, installation, or engineering work to ensure requirements, quality, and timelines are met.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical, equipment, process, or site-related issues.
• Conduct inspections, testing, measurements, and technical evaluations where required.
• Prepare engineering reports, documentation, drawings, calculations, work instructions, and other technical records.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, material coordination, and resource planning.
• Support process improvement, productivity enhancement, automation, cost reduction, and engineering improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant standards, specifications, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors on technical matters, equipment, materials, and services.
• Participate in meetings, site visits, project reviews, and technical discussions.
• Support testing, commissioning, project handover, and completion activities where applicable.
• Perform other engineering and technical duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Engineering disciplines may include Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Structural, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, Automation, or other relevant fields.
• Relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, technology, project management, maintenance, production, or a related industry will be an advantage.
• Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
• Willing to travel to project sites or manufacturing facilities when required.
