Global Key Account Executive

Job Purpose

The Global Key Account Executive (for international freight) supports the management and development of multinational and strategic customer accounts. The role coordinates RFQs, pricing, customer reporting and account-related activities across global offices to ensure timely responses, service consistency and effective customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. RFQ, Tender and Pricing Coordination

• Coordinate global RFQs and tenders by compiling required information, consolidating submissions from overseas offices and ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
• Work closely with the Pricing team and relevant stations to obtain competitive air freight, ocean freight and trucking rates for global bids and customer enquiries.
• Monitor RFQ timelines and follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure submissions are completed within the required deadlines.
• Maintain and regularly update freight rates, service offerings, customer-specific agreements and other relevant commercial information.
• Support the preparation of pricing comparisons, bid summaries and related analyses to facilitate commercial decision-making.

2. Key Account and Customer Support

• Support the servicing and development of assigned multinational and key accounts under the leadership of CSCGSM Singapore.
• Act as a coordination point between customers, overseas stations and internal departments to facilitate timely communication and follow-up.
• Coordinate customer and sales meetings, prepare meeting materials and follow up on agreed action items.
• Assist in preparing customer presentations, account reviews, sales reports and performance analyses.
• Prepare Quarterly Business Review materials, account performance reports and other customer-specific reports for assigned multinational accounts.
• Monitor outstanding customer requests, service issues and agreed actions, and coordinate with the relevant parties to support timely resolution.
• Handle online rate enquiries and liaise with overseas stations to respond to requests from customers and external clients.

3. Global Account and Control Tower Coordination

• Support the multinational account control tower activities of CSCGSM Singapore by coordinating with the stations involved in each account.
• Maintain regular communication with overseas stations and multinational customers through email, meetings and other agreed communication channels.
• Assist in monitoring service performance, shipment-related matters and account requirements across the network.
• Consolidate operational and commercial information from the relevant stations for account reporting and management review.
• Ensure customer requirements, agreed service arrangements and follow-up actions are properly communicated to the relevant internal stakeholders.

4. Sales and Account Administration

• Maintain accurate and complete records of customer agreements, quotations, RFQ submissions, meeting minutes and other account-related documentation.
• Prepare periodic sales, account performance and management reports.
• Coordinate meeting schedules, customer visits, business travel and other activities relating to the Global Sales team.
• Maintain customer and sales information in the relevant systems, databases and shared records.
• Support marketing and customer engagement initiatives, including promotional activities, customer events and coordination with global teams.
• Perform other account management, sales coordination and administrative duties as assigned.
