Innovation Programmes Intern (Feb to August/ September 2027)

Hatch is HTX and MHA Innovation Centre - connecting global startups with public safety end-users to test technologies in real operational environments. This internship is the right hand to our Programme/Project Manager, supporting execution of Dimension X and In-Beta — from start-up liaison to PoC/PoT tracking and day-to-day operations.

About the Programmes

• Dimension X — SGD$100K non-equity funding · ~4 months POC development · open call twice a year · deliverable: working PoC. The programme connects MHA end-users with startups.

• In-Beta — SGD$30K non-equity funding · ~8 weeks Proof of Tech assessment · invite-only, 2 cohorts a year ·deliverable: working PoT (Proof of Tech). The programme connects Hatch members and technical experts with startups.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Programme/Project Manager in running Dimension X and In-Beta cohorts end-to-end

• Liaise daily with start-ups and public safety end-users —scheduling check-ins, site visits, and testing sessions

• Track PoC/PoT progress against milestones, flag risks early, and consolidate status updates

• Coordinate programme logistics, documentation, and event support (open calls, demo days)

What We're Looking For

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable liaising with external stakeholders

• Genuine interest in deep-tech, innovation, or public safety

• Prior start-up or programme management exposure a plus, not required

• Duration: Ideally 6 months (Feb to August/ September 2027)

• Commitment: Full-time internship / Open to 3 days Part-Time
