Wealth Holdings Shipping Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based dry bulk shipping company operating vessels e.g. Supramax and Ultramax across major trade lanes, providing cargo transportation solutions and vessel management in Southeast Asia and beyond.

Job Summary

Support the finance function for dry bulk shipping by managing day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR transactions, payment processing and bank reconciliations, intercompany balances, voyage accounting, hire statements, cost allocation reporting, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with banking and KYC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including processing accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accurate financial records
• Verify invoices and process payments promptly to maintain vendor and customer account accuracy
• Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure alignment with company financial records
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany balances to support accurate consolidated financial reporting
• Prepare full set of accounts for small entities to comply with accounting standards
• Collaborate with Finance team and internal departments to resolve accounting and payment issues efficiently
• Generate voyage accounting reports, hire statements, and cost allocation reports to support operational and financial analysis
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Assist with banking compliance and prepare KYC documentation to meet regulatory requirements
• Perform additional finance and administrative duties as assigned to support business operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in shipping or trading industries
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience using accounting software to enhance accounting efficiency
• Proficiency in Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing to communicate with Chinese-speaking counterparts, vendors, and internal stakeholders
