HR Executive (Talent Acquisition & Business Partner)

Job Summary
This role support end-to-end recruitment and HR operations with a primary focus on hiring frontline and operational staff. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, managing recruitment channels and hiring data, and supporting bulk-hiring initiatives. The role also contributes to employee engagement, outlet visits, grievance handling, HR administration, payroll and work pass support, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
Partner with hiring managers and outlet leaders to understand manpower needs and recruitment priorities.
Source, screen, and shortlist suitable candidates for frontline and operational roles (e.g. Service Crew, Supervisors, Store Managers).
Schedule and conduct interviews, arrange trial shifts where required.
Manage recruitment channels including job portals, walk-in interviews, recruitment agencies, and referrals.
Explore and try out new recruitment channels including various social media platforms.
Support bulk-hiring, recruitment events, and open houses.
Maintain candidate database and generate hiring reports.
Onboarding & Offboarding
Prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding kits.
Coordinate orientation sessions and ensure proper documentation for new hires.
Conduct exit interviews and track resignation trends.
Employee Engagement & HR Operations (HRBP)
Support HR programs including welfare initiatives, staff events, and recognition programs.
Attend outlet visits to understand staff morale and working conditions.
Assist in grievance handling and follow up on employee concerns.
HR Administration & Generalist Support
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.
Assist in processing documentation for work passes and renewals (where applicable).
Support payroll, attendance, and leave administration when needed.
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and company policies.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in blue-collar or high-volume hiring environments
Resourceful, hands-on, and able to manage multiple recruitment cycles concurrently.
Familiarity with HR systems and recruitment platforms.
Willing to visit outlets or conduct field recruitment if needed.
Comfortable appearing on camera for recruitment and social media content.
