Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Director, the Trainer is responsible for driving operational excellence across all Super Sushi outlets by delivering structured operational training, conducting quality and compliance audits, and coaching outlet teams to achieve consistent service, food quality, and operational standards. The role plays a key part in strengthening workforce capability, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver operational training programmes for outlet employees in accordance with company SOPs and operational standards.
  • Conduct regular outlet audits to assess compliance with company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, customer service and operational excellence.
  • Identify operational gaps and training needs, develop improvement plans, and follow up to ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance to outlet employees and management teams to enhance operational competency and service standards.
  • Evaluate staff competency and recommend refresher or targeted training to improve individual and team performance.
  • Work closely with the Business Unit Manager and outlet management to drive operational consistency, productivity, and continuous improvement across all outlets.
  • Maintain accurate training records, audit reports, and performance documentation, and prepare regular management reports on training effectiveness and audit outcomes.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating operational SOPs, training materials, and best practices to support business growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in F&B operations, operational training, quality assurance, or a similar role, preferably in a multi-outlet environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and operational best practices.
  • Proven experience in conducting operational audits, coaching frontline employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly between outlets.
