As a Risk & Compliance Associate at BCRS Ltd, you will support the organisation’s risk management and compliance activities, focusing heavily on supplier and stakeholder compliance, managing formal communications, and ensuring the timely resolution of compliance matters.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day risk and compliance activities, including monitoring and following up on compliance matters.
- Communicate with suppliers and external stakeholders to request information, supporting documents, records and clarifications required for compliance review.
- Review information and documents submitted by suppliers for completeness, accuracy and consistency, and follow up on any discrepancies or missing information.
- Draft and issue formal correspondence, including requests for information, compliance reminders, warning letters, non-compliance notices and corrective action requests.
- Track outstanding compliance matters, supplier responses, required actions and deadlines to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in identifying potential compliance issues, operational risks and recurring non-compliance trends, and escalate significant matters where necessary.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, case files, correspondence and supporting documentation to ensure a proper audit trail.
- Assist in preparing compliance reports, case summaries, management updates and other compliance-related documentation.
- Support the implementation and improvement of compliance procedures, internal controls, templates and monitoring processes.
- Assist with compliance reviews, investigations, audits and other risk-related initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Law or a related discipline.
- Interest in developing a career in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit or Regulatory Affairs.
- Experience in risk, compliance, audit, regulatory affairs, supplier/vendor management or a related role is advantageous. Fresh graduates with suitable skills may also be considered.
- Strong written English, with the ability to draft clear and professional emails, letters and formal correspondence.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate and follow up with suppliers and external parties.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify missing, incomplete or inconsistent information.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, take ownership of assigned matters and manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other standard office applications.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
