Job description
- Assist client acceptance and continuance procedures
- Assist risk assessment and analytical procedures.
- Execute assigned engagement procedures.
- Assist engagement completion procedures.
- Assist engagement team on administration work of projects.
- Perform research when encountering technical difficulties.
- Submit work for review according to planned timeline and follow up review points on a timely basis.
- Communicate with the clients on the issues arising during the audit.
- Initiate discussion with engagement team members on the solutions to the issues.
- Complete the assigned tasks according to timelines set by the engagement team.
- Update project progress on a timely basis.
- Identify any lapse of services and take actions to make improvements.
- Continuous professional development through attending training and self-study.
Ability and skillsets
- Have passion in audit and serving the client.
- A life-long learner. Have strong learning ability and a positive learning attitude.
- A good team worker.
- A mature individual with integrity, perseverance and patience.
- Comfortable with huge volume of data in terms of both numbers and words.
- Meticulous and observant.
- Familiar with code of professional conduct and ethics, financial reporting standards, auditing standards and other assurance related standards.
- Have basic technical skills and able to exercise sound judgement.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have good analytical skills.
- Able to keep abreast with latest development in accounting and audit.
- Willing to work long hours but strive to be efficient.
- Good data analytical software applications such as Knime or PowerBI an added advantage
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in accountancy or accountancy profession qualification holders (such as CA Singapore/ACCA/Australian CPA)
- Other diploma or degree holders who are on road to CA Singapore/ACCA/Australian CPA.
- Other professionals with good attitude and would like to take new challenges in audit profession will also be considered.
